Like the pricing of all items in a global economy, the price of Sterling Commerce training varies from region to region. The pricing table below reflects the current pricing table for public and onsite training in various regions of the world (not all regions are shown).

Definition: Public Class:
A public class is hosted by Sterling Commerce. Students register individually, and classes are priced per day per student. In the US, for example, public classes are priced at $795/day/student. So 2 students registering for the 5-day GIS Fundamentals class would cost:

(2 students) x (5 days) x ($795) = $7,950

Definition: Onsite Class:

An onsite class is held at a customer's facility. Students are all employees of the customer hosting the class, and classes are priced per day for up to 12 students. In the US, for example, onsite classes are priced at $4,000/day/up to 12 students (the price is the same whether the customer sends 1 student or 12). So a customer bringing the GIS Fundamentals onsite would cost:

(5 days) x ($4,000) = $20,000 + instructor travel & expenses (for 1 to 12 students, the price is the same)

In some cases, transactions are conducted in local currencies. In other cases transactions are conducted in US dollar equivalent of local prices. You can find currency conversion informaton at http://www.xe.com.
